The ultimate street carnival is coming soon. With music, dance, food, circus, and heritage themed attractions highlight the much anticipated Davie Day Street Festival. Four blocks of Davie Street from Burrard to Broughton Streets will be closed to vehicular traffic all day on Saturday, September 11th.

In the KidZone there will be circus demonstrations, and you can climb aboard an ambulance, or the fun SS Discovery. The Doggy Zone will round out the attractions with a guest artist, Eric Ginsburg from New York City, who will create whimsical and waggish portraits of man's best friend.

The Concert Stage is loaded with acts creating and eclectic mix of stunning talent from Really Rod (Is he really Rod Stewart?) who will kick off at noon. Rod will be followed by Laurel Murphy, The Rogue Messengers, Kunaka Marimba, Jessica Davidson, and Shawn Khlookoff. Returning by popular demand, the illustrious Kim Kuzma, with her band will be delighting the crowd with her soaring vocal range and sassy stage presence. Kim will end the concert solo! Be sure not to miss it!

The Davie Day street festival promises to be a thrilling and thoroughly entertaining day out for the whole family  and best of all it's free! Come celebrate Vancouver’s West End in the Davie Village.
