Gimme Shelter, Everyday Choices, Presented by

Event Date: Sunday, September 26, 2010

There is still time to get tickets to this thought provoking event!

Come to the Roundhouse this Sunday and learn about sustainability, eating better, and how our food choices affect the environment as well as the welfare of animals and our health. This seminar is meant to encourage consumers to read food labels, and take an active part in what they are eating and where their food comes from. It is 2010, and and people want and need to know the truth about sustainability, compassion, factory farming, free range, and organic. What do these terms really mean?

Three of the most powerful and most informed speakers on the topic will be presenting; Gene Baur from Farm Sanctuary, Eleanor Boyle, and Rex Weyler of Greenpeace.

There will be canapes, wine, and live musical performances. All proceeds from ticket sales are being donated to Farm Sanctuary, and Vancouver's own, Liberation BC.

This is an event about making a difference, passing on education, and creating better planet for tomorrow.
