Dr. Egg and the Man with No Ear

Event Date: Tuesday, November 02, 2010

How can a catchy title like this not spark an interest! We are always searching for unique, quirky, and intriguing performing art and this show is sure to strike that chord. When a man loses his ear in a bizarre cycling accident, he yearns to replace it!

Enter Dr. Egg who assures he can grow a new ear for the man, but must take a DNA sample from his daughter. The man refuses to harm his daughter, but as a daughter filled with love for her father, she finds her way to the lab. Its not a fairy-tale ending and the ear comes at a big cost. The doctor’s magic elixir, and this story, yields a dilemma far more challenging than ‘happily ever after’.

Through stop motion animation, puppetry, and physical performance, the play explores the ethical dilemmas that arise from technological advancements in science, technology, and medicine. Sounds too interesting to pass up? That what's we thought!
