The Good Drive

Event Date: Sunday, November 07, 2010

Lets face it! Humans accumulate stuff! How many times have you picked up some shampoo from the store, just to realize you already had a spare bottle sitting at home? Or perhaps you bought a set of winter mittens that you just never wore? Here is your chance to give back!

The Good Drive is a one day donation initiative that aims to gather household items for low-income families and those under the poverty line. With the homelessness rate increasing by 12% over the last two years, the need is great and very present! For you, various household items scattered around your house may not seem that significant, but for low-income families, these items contribute to a better quality of life and may mean the difference between homelessness. Plus, It's a great way to recycle and re-gift gently used household items.

Organized by a group of caring SFU students, The Good Drive is about coming together as a community, building sustainability, and giving back.
