The Hanger Show in Richmond

Event Date: Friday, November 05, 2010

Two distinct and renowned Vancouver artists take to the skies in a ground breaking art exhibit inspired by aviation and in the unique environment of an airplane Hangar. Both Virginia Ivanicki and Arnt Arntzen are well respected artists in Eat Vancouver, and after many years of perfecting their craft, they are joining together to showcase some spectacular art and share their love of flight.

Arntzen's special talent and interest in crafting contemporary furniture designs from old aeronautical parts, helicopter blades, airplane propellers, you name it! This is paired with Ivanicki's fascination of aeronautics with paintings of World War II bombers and seaplanes from the 1940's- 1960's.

There is nothing more inspiring than a passion expressed in art and this is truly what this show is about. Encompassed by seaplanes at the seair hangar in Richmond, you might just be able to soak up a little of this inspiration. The show is only for two days, so don't miss out!
