Festival of Trees Vancouver (2012)

The 17th annual Festival of Trees is back! Every year the Vancouver Rotary Foundation holds this amazing fundraising event that is a holiday “must-see” tradition in Vancouver. Thousands of people attend, and the event raises money for local student scholarships and grants for community groupsl.

The Festival is open to the public. Visitors can also vote for their favourite tree and be entered to win a prize. Award categories include People’s Choice, Most Child-like, Most Creative and more!

There is no admission cost, but the suggested donation amount is $5. Come out to support a great cause and enjoy the Christmas spirit!

Festival of Trees Viewing
Location: Pearson Air Museum, 1115 E. Fifth Street, Vancouver, WA
Date: Friday, November 23 – Noon to 9 p.m.
Saturday, November 24 – 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, November 25 – 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Downtown Holidazzle
Location: Esther Short Park and the Vancouver Hilton
Date: Friday, November 23

  • 3 p.m. – Vancouver Farmers Market vendors open at Esther Short Park 
  • 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. – Loci train rides available around Esther Short Park 
  • 3 p.m. – Dixieland Jazz Band at the Vancouver Hilton 
  • 4 p.m. – Vancouver Community Concert Band Concert at the Vancouver Hilton 
  • 5: 30 p.m. – Combined Vancouver High School Choirs at Esther Short Park 
  • 6 p.m. – Community Tree Lighting with Santa at Esther Short Park 
  • 6:20 p.m. – Vancouver Pops Orchestra Concert at the Vancouver Hilton 

Hot Buttered Run and Kids Kandy Kane Race
