The popular Women's Winter Faire is back! but, OMG!, it's only one weekend this year,  a BIG break in tradition from the past many years, always 2 shows, 3 weeks apart, to accommodat the many talented women artisans who apply.  Vendors and shoppers alike love the friendliness, vibrancy and village-like atmosphere of the Faire.

Combining art, culture and social activism, the Faire supports local artists, many whose livelihood depend solely on their art -- talented resourceful women who lean toward using "upcycled", recycled as well as new materials in wood, glass, textiles, and metal to create works of art:  to admire, to wear, to use in practical ways.  Fashion, 1st Nations designs and art, functional and decorative ceramics, mystical and magical art, jewelery and fine art are but a few of the unique gifts to explore at the Faire --
treasures for women and men, people of all ages, for homes, pets and interests.

The Faire also supports projects and products taking place in developing countries to better the lives of their peoples striving for survival and independence.  Through the door donation the Faire has raised over $90,000 in the pat 18 years which has supported the work of many local and worldwide organizations.
